I agree, but would anyone be opposed to promoting Aranda if Oeaux doesn’t pan out? In that scenario, Jeaux may not geaux. Believe me, I want him gone, too, but I can’t help but wonder if Aranda’s been told he’s the HC in waiting, and that in turn buys Jeaux more time.

 

Aranda as HC seems like a gamble of Mike Archer proportions.

 

It's possible. Unfortunately I don't think there is any way to find out beside throwing him in the fire.

So we roll the dice either way. Hire him and he is a dud or let him go and he turns into Saban

 

These things wouldn't be said. The implication is there but all bets are off when it goes down. Aranda has a shot but it's a long one.

 

I don't think he os enough of a politician to be good at schmoozing with the bigwigs.

 

I thought aranda's official title was DC/assistant HC...

 

It's only words. A lot of coaches have the AHC title but the buck always stops with the guy who doesn't have the word assistant attached to his job title.
