1. Put American Heros and Badasses here with their story!

Coming off a strike on Thud Ridge and critically low on fuel Col. Robin Olds ran into a KC-135 Stratotanker that wasn’t interested in giving him gas. After a heated argument, here’s what Col Olds said to the KC-135 crew to make them comply “immediately”.

Robin Olds[2] (July 14, 1922 – June 14, 2007) was an American fighter pilot and general officer in the U.S. Air Force. He was a "triple ace", with a combined total of 17 victories in World War II and the Vietnam War.[3] He retired in 1973 as a brigadier general.

In 1942 he was named by Collier's Weekly as its "Lineman of the Year" and by Grantland Rice as "Player of the Year." Olds was also selected as an All-Americanas the cadets compiled a 6–3 record, beating Lafayette College, Cornell, Columbia, Harvard, VMI, and Princeton, and falling to Notre Dame, Penn, and Navy.[20] In the Army–Navy Game of 1942, which was played at Annapolis instead of Philadelphia, Olds had both upper front teeth knocked out when he received a forearm blow to the mouth while making a tackle. Olds returned to the game and reportedly was cheered by the Navy Third and Fourth Classes, which were assigned as the Army cheering section when wartime travel restrictions prevented the Corps of Cadets from attending.[21] In 1985 Olds was enshrined in the College Football Hall of Fame.[20]

  4. Ron Bellan

Had the pleasure of spending some time with Ron each year they came for the Special Ops Wounded Warrior project we put on. He was a Navy SEAL veteran of 25 yrs.

We were told he was the Master Chief over the Marcus Lutrell mission but he never spoke to us about it. One of the other Special Ops attendees told us that.

He died too early at 49 yrs old. RIP brother.

I wonder why the tanker was reluctant to give him gas? I wonder if they got their asses chewed when they landed? They should have.
