Saban stated 2 weeks ago that Amp has one really good practice but can't make it a full practice the next day. SWELLING in the knee.......

maybe the swelling will stop one day.

sounds like a "career type of injury".... that sucks, we could use his speed on returns and at reciever... Is Saban recruiting any additional WR talent ?

He played in the last few minutes of the Arkansas game. He looked great.

I don't know...but I've reached the point where I'll be pleasantly surprised if he's ever a contributor. That's no knock on the kid, just the reality of the situation. I don't know a lot about knee injuries, but I find it kind of difficult to believe that if he isn't back to full strength after 2 years, he's going to ever be full speed again.

Hopefully he will be at full speed again and also get everything back that he once had. We will see next year I guess.

Those knee injuries commonly take 2 years before they are 100%. Look at the Edge with the Colts, he is just now back to full strength, even though he played all year last year.

edge's knee is better since its his option year of his contract. next year he will be back on the shelf.

Ahh...the ole "let me play at my best in my contract year" syndrome. Something I buy into big time.
