You gotta love Brady's comb-over. "Big Earn" has nothing on that.

why wont anyone answer my question? what has brady done to show that he's going to bring competitiveness and/or championships to LSU? If our goal is to stay an average team every year... he's done pretty well. I mean last year's ncaa's were a JOKE. Im not saying he's a BAD coach, Im just saying he hasnt been a good fit here and he definately hasnt shown that he's going to win anything at LSU.

Why do you guys think he should remain coach here?

I believe now that he is in a position to recruit properly, he is having a good deal of success doing so. The overall talent level has steadily improved over the last 2-3 years. Last year's tourney loss was as disappointing as it gets, that's for sure. However, I was as confident as ever and anxious for this season looking at the players coming in this year. It looks as though the wait was well worth it. Lets see how this team plays in the tourney. We should expect a couple of wins this year. Time will tell right? By the way, next year's talent level will be even better!

Maybe...Have you evert thought why guys keep transferring and leaving early for the NBA. Bass was not ready and I really think he kne that. So therefore there must have been another reason. What if the same things happens to Tyrus and Baby. They are not ready, but who know. Then what after next year Tasmin leaves. If you notice one thing about great coached teams, their players stay. The only time I can remeber multiple leaving early or transferring was UNC last season. Almost all of the players who leave early for the draft from these types of teams are starting or are the 6th or 7th man.

I hope he does something, I really do. But it's just had such a long time. I mean what would we do if our football program was struggling like this? He woulda been gone years ago... Our attitude for football has to transcend to basketball and baseball.. You think it's a coincidence that we're so passionate about the success of our football team and they're as good as they are year in and year out?

If you would pull your head out of your a$$ and look around, you would see that the vast majority of college basketball teams are having the same kind of up and down season that LSU is having. With the exception of the top 2 or 3 teams, nobody is winning road games against the better conference opponents and nobody is putting together any kind of extended winning streak. LSU is doing as well as I would have hoped for and the tournament is a ways down the road. You are so convinced that LSU will falter that you cannot enjoy what's right there in front of you. What possible reason would the administration have for even thinking about letting Brady go when he's recruited excellent talent and is winning? If your problem is the UAB game last year, then get over it. That was a different team in a different season. Geez, man. Get real. Brady ain't going anywhere. If you cannot deal with that, then I suggest you find another team to follow and leave the rest of us the hell alone.:angryfire

We were passionate about our football team in the nineties. Well at least I was. They sucked. I still enjoyed the games though.

Years ago? How far back? Just curious.

    A) I'm not talking about this season. Im talking about every season. I refer to the UAB game as that's brady's most recent failure.
    B) I'd reference all those other ncaa appearances...oh yeah, all of them :(
    C) Every year that they actually make it to the NCAA's... they get upset.
    D) He's won 2 ncaa tourney games and one was an escape in the first round vs a 12 seed on a brian bashera jump shot at the buzzer.
    E) In 3 of his 8 seasons at LSU he finished dead last, 6th in the west.
    F) His teams have been very inconsistent: never back to back ncaa invites, and while the NIT is a GREAT honor... it's just not the same
    G) career in the sec...? .422 win % how is that acceptable?

So how can you think he's done a good job at LSU? He's won less than half of his conference games. Maybe if you stopped all the flaming and attacking individual people on the site, and focused more on the facts of the matter. The vast majority of college basketball teams have trouble winning conference games on the road EVERY year... not just this year. So, I ask again... based on his past (.422% in the sec, no back to back ncaa appearances, 2 ncaa wins in 8 years, one NIT win in 8 years, dead last in the west 3 times in 8 years...) what has he done to prove he can coach at LSU?

I was saying that the life of a coach with a .422 win percentage in the conference wouldnt last 4 years at LSU in football, where as brady has lasted 9 in basketball
