I'm concerned that Coach Myles does not get more media respect. After the NC game, I did hear about how the SEC has the best coaches of any league, but Myles' name was not even mentioned. Granted he has only been here two years and has not won a NC, but a fifth and second final rating is most impressive. I guess the third year will really be his year to prove himself.
Well, he's done better than Saban, who never had this kind of back to back success. This part is a joke right? I mean, all he gets made fun of is for his goofy hat & his poor public speaking skills. Eh, that is one example and it was his first home game (not mention right after Katrina). You want to give perhaps more examples to support your short-sited reasoning for using the word "repeatedly". Yes, Jimbo was never criticised for being to conservative under Saban. Ha! What about 04, how great was our offense that year? Go ahead & try to defend this. Miles' offenses at Oklahoma St consistently ranked higher & produced more than Jimbo's did here at LSU despite having less talent. We won, didn't we? You just said you think Miles made a good hire with Pelini. His DLine coach, Earl Lane, has also been great. What makes you think that is going to change now? No, you are not. The world is filled with people like you that worry about things that they cannot control & need not worry about.
Can't understand how anyone would have a hard time understanding that with all the stupid chit I hear from and read from fans??? A positive public perception (Sorry about the alliteration) begins at home. :thumb:

Mod you can go ahead and kill it. I think I didn't do a good job of explaining my concerns. Les has done a great job considering some of the obstacles that have popped up. Without Katrina and obviously biased Referees in the Auburn game this year I think he could be 24 and 2 instead of 22 and 4. I'm just concerned that our coaching staff is being picked apart. I'm not selling my season tickets, I still bleed purple and gold. Just not convinced that his record is a excuse to look past a lot of minor concerns.
You suffer only from bad timing. All of these points have been brought up after a close win or a tough loss, and are not necessarily without merit. However, most folks here (including myself) aren't really in the mood to discuss it. Check out some of the other threads about the assistant coaches, and you can get a good feel for what folks think about where LSU is headed. And if you're feeling nostalgic, search the threads by date...specifically after the Florida, Ole Miss, and Auburn games. :hihi:
