We had stretches last year when the bats went silent. Hope it's not a recurring theme this year especially with SEC pitching.

Four baserunners all day. I'm thinking that won't cut it.

Maybe we should hire the girl from you avatar. Tell the guys she's the reward if they score. :)

    Game 3 is UGLY!!!

    Top of the 9th:

    ASU 9-12-0
    LSU 0-3-2

Goodbye ranking! This will drop us to #15 or lower. :dis:

    Pitching...hitting...fielding...nothing was very good today.

Not much to cheer for since the 2009 CWS title. (At least not considering our expectations.)

What an awesome weekend for LSU sports, bookended by blowouts.

We gave up two more runs in the top of the 9th.

    ASU 11
    LSU 0

A walk by Katz and a triple by Fields finally gets us on the board. At least we can avoid back-to-back shutouts.

I'm sorry, I know i'm not suppose to ever post negative stuff about LSU - Football was unbelieveable untill Saban got a second chance, ruined everthing. Basketball was doing much better untill we had to go to Oxford & Ole Miss :eek:lefire:kicked our butt badly. Darn, I was really looking forward to this baseball season, now this. 11-1 to Appalachian State, back to back disappointing losses! :( Really?

It was a rough weekend! Our "current" best program is the Women's Basketball team.

They're 20-8 overall and 10-5 in the SEC. After losing 5 of 6, they've won six straight. They're winning by an average of 8 points/game during the streak.

They play at Georgia (21-7, 10-5) at 4:00 on ESPN2. A win would secure between the #2 and #4 spot in the SEC.

You would think out of 3 major sports that we could muster some offense in just one.
