Aquariums for the Marlins?

    my first question would be -- if a sharp liner is hit behind the plate, even though it wouldn't hit glass, would it be a strong enough jolt to break or shake the glass?

    My second question would be -- why have something in a ballpark that is killer expensive that only .05% of the crowd can see, and even that .05% won't pay attention to?

    on a moderately relevant note i would like to point out that the plural of marlin is marlin, not marlins. so they are not always making the best decisions down there in miami.

    That's just goofy.

    And shatterproof glass still breaks when something hits it hard enough, like, say, a baseball thrown 92 miles an hour and then glancing off a baseball bat.

    They could just dump a bucket of beta fish in there for every game. That alone would be worth the price of a ticket. They could even auction off the grand champion for the 7th inning stretch.
