That 1908 Championship has always been debatable as it predated any major polls. I am not sure if there were any other undefeated teams that year. Doesn't Bama claim several championship which are pre UPI or AP? And even claims some from non-major polls?

Wow that was a great article, and it was in a SC publication! I think we need to Email the writer and thank him for a great article about a opposing team, actually its better than any I have read from our "homie" writers.
