So, as we all know, Gerrit Cole is married to Brandon Crawford's sister. Crawford was a junior at UCLA, when Cole was a visiting recruit, Brandon was his host. During the visit, Crawford introduced Cole to his sister, who played on the Bruins' softball team,.. that sounds like a recruiting violation to me.

Crawford hit a 2 run homer off of Cole for the Giants only runs.
