    do u think your linebackers over or underperformed last year or just about as expected? i have my own opinion, thats why im asking. its probably wrong since i didnt see as many iowa games as i wanted.

    I think Greenway tried to do way too much last year... found himself out of position a lot. In his defense, the D-line was very young and had big problems applying pressure... and we seemed to need to stack the line more than usual. Honestly, we weren't a good defense last year, particularly by Norm Parker standards. We hit just as hard, but it was always seven yards downfield... or so it seemed.

    LBs can't do a damn thing if the d-line can't occupy blockers... if you DTs that can draw double teams, then the linebackers are free to move laterally and fill the gaps...

    who all is in that picture for us on athlons website 7 are shown and i can name 6......landry, daniels, steltz, jackson, Zenon and joseph...who's the last one?

    awesome, just to think football season is almost here already!

    It shows the depth this team has when just 1 year ago we lost the top DB duo in college fooball (Webster/Daniels) and now we are considered to still have the best secondary in the country by some.

    I see where they ranked Arizona 3rd best secondary... should add some intrigue to the game.
