I have heard repots of Texas A&M trying to get into the SEC, and honestly, they would be manhandled. Texas would stand a better chance, but Texas doesnt want to have to compete against all the good schools in the SEC. Do yall think the SEC would consider taking aTm, or Texas?

If Texas wanted to come to the SEC, the SEC would be absolute idiots not to take them.

The SEC would take Texas because of the potential TV revenue they would bring. Huge numbers. I don't want to play them every year though.

Apparently the Aggies have been given 72 hours to decide:

72 hours? Sounds like they are being pressured into doing something without fully knowing all of their options.

Sounds more like they are dealing with a slimy used car salesman than a conference.

The Aggies need an SEC assurance that they can join us so they aren't left out in the cold and the clock is running.

How much of a television audience, etc., can the Aggies bring to the table. Does anyone have any idea of what kind of numbers they can bring to the table? They are weird, but I think they have a big following, but I don't really know for sure. Anybody?

Pretty much my thought as well. Hope they stand firm, and hopefully they've gotten a certain invite from the SEC.

less than 2 hours from Houston, which is the 4th largest city in this country, and is full of Aggies.

The ones i deal with personally are absolutely giddy at the idea of coming to the SEC.
