i have to say i love all this damn auburn hype. these guys haven't won anything in a long time. i keep hearing about their great halfbacks. it will be interesting to see how they can hand 3 balls off on one play. i can't wait till these jokers come crashing back down to 3rd in the west. Last season Auburn was 3rd in the West and it got them SEC West Co-Champ rings. Where did they play the co-champ game again?
co-champ game is right after the "we-cheated-and-so-like-everything-else-be-bought-a-bowl-game" game . . You would think neither of the schools involved in this thread would question the ability of our running backs, considering last years 2nd and 3rd string rushed for a combined total of well over 300 yards against your two "top-ranked" defenses . oh wait . .that was Fran and Marcus Randle's fault right . . .? sheesh .
you are correct . no bama thread questioned our running game . .my apologize, I was focusing on the: "i keep hearing about their great halfbacks. it will be interesting to see how they can hand 3 balls off on one play" which would imply that someone didn't think that RB depth was important . .which would be foolish because it was that very RB depth in 2002 that won the LSU and bama games for us in 2002.
Got to agree with you on that Chuck. You have to have depth. Carnell hasn't made a full season yet and it's a good thing you had Tre smith to back up Ronnie Brown. I just hope for your sake that Tubberville has them understanding the pecking order they are in.
