Judging from what I've seen, I would vote:

    1) Auburn (undefeated SEC team, only one seriously close call versus LSU (and LSU top ten w/exteme talent)
    2) Oklahouma (close calls against Oka. St. & A&M)
    3) USC (3 close calls: Stanford, Cal, UCLA)

And Auburn had far and away the toughest schedule (I'm not talking non-conf, I'm talking total schedule, which is what matters)

The pollsters were not objective, they are extemely biased, succumbing to hype and history.

I'm going to wait until the bowl games are over. Auburn could fall flat on it's face. USC could get drilled by OU...nobody knows yet.

Right on! WAR CHICKEN!!! :) :thumb:

...can't speak for the rest of the group, but after the SECCG, I pull for all SEC teams.

It's a good idea, but it won't always work. It's always easy to set up a good way after the regular sesasons are over and you see what teams are left, but you can't just say "the top-4 play for it"

For example, in 2001 did any team deserve a shot at the championship besides Ohio State and Miami, the only two undefeated teams? I would say no, and I assume most would agree.

No system is perfect...but would it be better than what we have? (and we'd get two more big games)
