1. What a great way to end the regular season! Hats off to our guys for another fine regular season! 9-2 and quite possibly a Capital One Bowl bid (that's IF the Cap One officials back what they said a few weeks ago).

Marcus Randall played out of his mind! He was great. The running game, as has been the case the last few games, was very good and our line, minus "Mr. Everything", Ben Wilkerson, did a great job of controlling the line of scrimmage.

Saban's trademark defensive adjustments at half paid off once again. We're just real, REAL tough after halftime this year.

My offensive player of the game is Randall.
Deffensively, I would give the nod to either Spears (who was his typical ball-hawking self) OR Laron Landry (2 INT's).

It was also nice to see all of our running backs get some playing time and perform. Broussard was his typical dominant self. Addai was fabulous. JV even showed me signs of his '03 version--had some pretty nice runs and yards after contact, and Shyrone Carey even added a TD. Total group effort.

Perhaps someone could either correct me, or confirm for me, but wasn't that Amp Hill (#1) on the field, and there to celebrate with Carey on that last TD??? I assume his knee is better and he's finally--at least physically, ready and in football shape.

    GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!

  2. tigers look great.. capitol one bowl here the tigers come!
  3. That would be a pretty damn good New Year's Day paycheck!!! :D
  4. Not to mention, we busted Nutt's (pun intended) 17 game winning streak in Little Rock. Not an easy place to win and we dominated. Defense only gave up 2 TDs on short fields.

I agree that Randall played great. I wish we would've had that same success throughout the year. At least we passed for more the 100 yards.

I also agree it was good to see JV get some work and be successful. I only wish he would've gotten the carry on the last TD instead of Shyrone
  5. Me too. Would have done wonders for his confidence.
