  1. Does anybody care? I have to confess I've never been to a Zephyrs or a Babycakes game.

    Their attendance is last in the league. They will leave after the 2021 season and move to Wichita who are building a new stadium.

  4. New Orleans minor league baseball team.
    They were called the Zephyrs for years and changed their name to Babycakes a couple of years ago. Former LSU shortstop Austin Nola is a Babycake.

    Have the admit, when I saw this in the advocate and saw the mascot, I swear Imthought it was a brand for king cakes. ONLY in New Orleans (or maybe San Fran too) would a men's baseball team be referr d to as Baby Cakes. Look how gay.

  8. King cakes are a Mardi Gras tradition. They insert a plastic baby in each cake. Whoever gets the piece with the baby is supposed to buy the next King cake.
