That was awfully kind of him. Of course, since we won our bowl game, we can now look forward to next season.
I route for all of the SEC teams in the bowl games. I think it greatly benefits the stature of the league in the National spotlight. I was pulling for both Florida and LSU to win National Championships. I've got family and friends that went to several of the schools in the SEC and have had good times partying with them at different venues. I really can't relate to all of the hatred the LSU fans have for the other SEC schools. Rivalries are great and by all means support your school but to relish in another teams defeat from a school outside the conference is something I can't relate to. I think the SEC is at its best when we have a number of teams in the top 10 vs. only 2 this year. But hey thats just my personal opinion.
Check the threads before the Bama meltdown. This was a reaction to Bama disappointing the SEC fans. Most of the LSU fans routed for all SEC teams in the bowls.
root sorry, i'm bad for correcting spelling. did you play organized sports? if so, did your team have a hated rival? did you ever pull for them to win? i hated, and still hate, breaux bridge and will never pull for them to win. But, i don't want to burn the city down or anything. I have several friends that went to school there, i just despise their athletic program because they are our rival.
