Barksdale sent another message after that one saying he is sorry for getting frustrated and sorry if he offending anyone. And he was just not happy he couldn't make it home for the holidays. He also confirmed that it was not aimed at anyone affiliated with LSU. I would be a little pissed too if I was stuck on campus for 3 days by myself during Christmas. I am sure one of the coaches or players will bring him along to celebrate the holidays with their families.
He was frustrated and young. Outlandish remarks are therefore common and the reason he came to his senses and tried his best to make up for his remarks.
