1. Hi everybody. An LSU friend on an Auburn board invited me to join here. This is my first post. I am coming down for the LSU-Auburn game this year. I have always wanted to come to a game there but never have made it. I have reservations at a hotel about 6 miles from LSU. My wife and I will arrive in BR Friday evening and leave Sunday. Any suggstions of things to do or places to eat? Where should I park for the game?
  2. Serrano's is good after the game too. Both Chime's and Serrano's will be packed. If you want some local fast food try Raisin Canes Chicken Fingers.
  3. I say try T.J. Ribs on Acadian. All the other places mentioned are also good.
  4. Mike Anderson's and T.J. ribs. Music to my ears.
  5. If you go to Louies, GET THE MITCHELL. Its an omelet and its awesome!! If you want to go all out for dinner and have some $$ head over to Juban's. Great restaurant.
Other good places to eat are The Chimes, Serano's, Mike Andersons, The Half Moon(for some soul food, if its still around), Ruths Chris Steakhouse is also good.
  6. I think you might be talking about the Silver Moon for soul food. That place rules. You get a ton of food for like $6 and it is all good. I recommend the smothered chicken with white beans. It is on Chimes now.
  7. I ate at TJ Ribs last night. The ribs are still excellent. And you can't beat a place with so much LSU Memorbelia.
  8. Thanks Mike D. I couldn't remember the name. That place helped keep me fed when i was at LSU.
  9. Mike Anderson's shrimp platter (shrimp served 7 ways).... droool....
  10. If you want to take a little trek. Joe's at the Dreyfuss store in Livonia.....great food
