Confusion reigns with regards to Edwards. We'll have to wait for an official statement from LSU to know for sure.
The annual coaches banquet was tonight. I'll talk to my buddy that went to see if Saban said anything about it.
I just got off the phone with a so called insider and he has not heard anything about Edwards being kicked off the team. He also told me that Saban will give anybody a second chance. But, the line will be drawn in the sand after that. Unless something comes out in the paper I am dropping this subject. Barrington Edwards is one heck of a football player and I hope all of this about him in this forum is false and that he is still on the team.
On another board a poster sugested that maybe Edwards is going through the same things as Demetri Robinson went through last year with Nick, and maybe that is the case. He may have to re-earn the right to participate again.
Spoke to a frined of mine today who knows two of the players, and Barrington is still doing the voluntary workouts with the team everyday, so I don't think he has gone anywhere.
