I sure hope we live up to the hype this year in baseball. I would sure love to host another super regional in Baton Rouge this year as well.....
Im thinking about making an impromptu flight down to BR for Tulane/LSU... not to sure right now, but I may just have to do it to watch at least one game this season... I missed being at all the football games, went to 1 basketball, and Im going to try and make it to a couple baseball games, hopefully some away that are closer to me (UGA, Bama, USC) if LSU plays at away series... need to look at schedule.

damn...tough schedule: tulame, az st., rice, plus the regular SEC line-up. too bad SOS doesn't count in baseball. but that should prepare us nicely for the post-season.
SOS does count when it comes to seeding the teams in the post season .... there is a committee, like basketball, that takes SOS into consideration. A strong schedule can improve your chances of receiving a top 8 national seed, which is critical to hosting a SR.
