1. I saw on dandydon that Rocky Scelfo is playing at Bama. Does anyone know why he transferred after 2002?
  2. My guess would be he realized how crappy a place Tulane is.
  3. Was that a joke? Because he played at LSU. :geaux: :lsug: :champs:
  4. No I just confused, and for some reason thought Rocky played for Tulane.
  5. It seems like I can remember him transferring to ULL of all places when he first left LSU......
  6. Rumors at the time was that he expected to be an instant starter and when that did not happen, he opted out for a program where he could play rather than bide his time and earn the start. Top College World Series teams like LSU sometimes have a lot of talent ahead of a young guy.

Bama is horrible this year, so I guess he picked the right place. Some guys would rather start for a loser, than be a reserve for a winner.
  7. yeah, but he made the all-sec tournament in 2002. seems like there is another story
  8. He lost his strating job here and didn't want to sit on the bench so he transfered to ULL according to the news release when he left. How he ended up at Bama is anyone's guess but maybe they went a calling on him before he enrolled at ULL.
  9. Dandydon posted that he played at a junior college then went to Bama.

I rather see partial playing time at LSU than play full time at Bama. :tigbas: :tigbas:
  10. actually bama's 5 starters each have less hits than innings pitched. thats amazing in pro ball much less college. They've lost tons of one run games as Turtle was mentioning today and their record could almost be reversed in the SEC. Don't be fooled by their record....they have possibly the best overall pitching staff in the conference minus maybe S.C. Be prepared for some very tough at bats for the tigers.
