    Top of the 9th:

    Berry pitching for the Tigers

    *Strike out (1 out)
    *Ground out (2 outs)
    *Pop up (3 outs)

    UF 1-5-0
    LSU 0-9-1

Time to win one in the bottom of the 9th!

    Bottom of the 9th:

    *Snikeris strikes out (1 out)
    *Jones strikes out (2 outs)
    *Watkins strikes out (3 outs)

    UF 1-5-0
    LSU 0-9-1

    FINAL

Their closer didn't do what Manny did last night.

    Nope.

Shut out. Nothing is more depressing than seeing a freshman come out and pitch 8 innings with only 5 hits and 1 run, and your offense doesn't help him out.

I couldnt see the game, what happened to our bats?

Was their pitching that good? or were they just inconsistent? saw we had 9 hits...

Great play last night wasted by closing pitching. Great pitching tonight wasted by leaving people on base.

No knock on Florida but LSU has given these two away.

One of the most frustrating games I've ever seen as an LSU baseball fan. Brutal

We can go ALL the way back to the first inning for this one.

Runners on 2nd and 3rd with one out and nothing comes of it. That was our only baserunner on 3rd.

This series has shown why Jones is our 9-hole hitter despite being our "best" hitter.

He is 1-8 so far, including a pop-out bunt attempt and strikeout in the bottom of the 9th.

    It's early...we've only lost three games...two were against the #1 ranked team...all three were by a run...etc...etc...etc...

I'm not worried but at this point I don't have much confidence in our ability to score late and/or threaten to hit one out of the park.

This is a "light-hitting" LSU baseball team.
