when we say lsu plays bad defense, that isnt exactly correct. they play solid half court D. so the slowdown offenses dont bother them. they beat those teams. they clamped down on the bonnies and ruined then easily. the problem is transition D is catastrophic. on made baskets they are flexing their muscles and relaxing instead of sprinting back and getting organized. thats why bama beats them. bama loves nothing more than a transition 3. if LSU has a chance to settle, they play defense fine. michigan should be yet another easy win.
