i went to the game, saw shaq. they sat me and my bud right next to another couple folks, with empty rows in front and behind us. the sparse crowd is very odd. you can hear wade very well.

notes: i wondered if cam thomas would be a sure one and done or a borderline guy like watford, or even naz r, who went undrafted*. now its clear to me he is a high draft pick. he will average 20+ points and go in the first round. that guy is a machine. lsu is playing ok now but they are getting back their two best defenders and will be much improved. either manning or leblanc (who wade loves) will start over hyatt. leblanc was a defensive star as a freshman for georgetown. apparently in practice he is shutting folks down. i think leblanc is the long term starter as a defensive specialist max effort bringer of pain. *= i read an article that was about a theoretical redraft of 2019 draft if it was now, given how the players are doing. it had reid at 22. he has been good and was worth a 1st round pick. i guess he came into the combine fat and lazy or something and killed his draft stock. he has been good and is part of the future of the T-wolves
