kentucky has lost 3 straight. its because every year they have huge talent incoming and outgoing. armies of 5 star rookies every year. then non starters transfer and the starters go pro. but they start every year with no experience. but they are savage monsters come tournament time. LSU lost to st louis because they had a lot of incoming talent with no experience. it happens to the best. by mid season these freshmen are rolling.
also, i went to the game again. i reeally wish the two bigs were better. they played together in a monstrous lineup with BPJ and josh gray together, which is pretty cool to have the twin towers out there, but unfortunately i think both of them need lots of development. BPJ has a pair of stones for hands, and gray needs work as well. its a tragedy because BPJ is a fucking monster with huge shoulders and body that looks NBA supersturdy. i dont think he has any hand eye coordination. gray on the other hand looks like he might be good eventually. i can see him making bucks playing ball after 3 years of practice.
We're going to average almost 90 pts/game this season, yes? Can Cam Thomas distribute the ball or just a scorer.
Mostly a scorer, but he can handle the ball pretty well; most of the roster can. Eric Gaines looks like he might be able to distribute better than Smart. Just about everyone is a scoring threat; interesting team.
