watching the game replay if watford makes the NBA he might be the least exciting dunker in the league that isnt luka doncic. but he is the player who loves to celebrate teammate dunks more than anyone. last year watford and I both absolutely delighted in those marlon taylor jams. anytime anyone dunks watford gets fired up. in the presser after the game wade explained his philosophy. he said when was at smaller schools he coached defense. now he is a power five coach that can recruit NBA talent. he wants them to play simple offense. open up the floor and take it to the rack. play defense hard, but mostly win by scoring crazy points and being the most talented players. like the NBA, basically. in the NBA the best team fucks around and then buries the inferior squad in the 4th quarter by turning on the effort and then talent wins. wade knows he is at a school now were he can get the talent to win. no motion offense needed. isolate, force defensive switches and then abuse the weaker defenders. and then do it again. you hear alot of criticism of wade: "what kid of offense is this! its unorganized streetball!" but really its just being a team with more talent, and using it. yale needs to run backdoors every other play. cam thomas doesnt.
