Unavoidable? He put his elbows into that catcher's chest plate. How is that an attempt to slide or avoid a collision? Maybe he's automatically safe for the interference, but there is no way in Texas he should be upright 6 inches from the plate on a close play...
well im aware of that but thats what the rule is called. I didnt mean literally unavoidable the way he ran into him. contact was unavoidable. figured he had to slide as well.
