Most curious to see where TCU, Boise State and Cincinnati end up initially in the computer polls. BCS busters o plenty.

The preliminary rankings came out yesterday and LSU was #7 right behind USC.

    Top 5 were:

    UF
    Bama
    Texas
    VT
    Boise St.

    preliminary BCS rankings

LSU is faring very well in the computer polls.

    LSU 0.81
    USC 0.59

Computers hate USC"s schedule and their loss to Washington.

USC in trouble again this year to make it to the title game even with only 1 loss.

A 1 loss SEC Champ will easily trump USC, just like Gary Danielson said should be the case. Same holds true if Texas ends up with only 1 loss and wins the Big 12.

Boise State with a strong .81 computer poll ranking.

It will be difficult to keep them out of the BCS CG if they go undefeated. The computer polls will support them making it there and the voters will have to make a "correction" the last week of the season to prevent them from going if there isn't an undefeated Texas and SEC Champ.

Interesting conundrum that is pretty eminent.

    Get out your popcorn.

I'd hate to play Boise. Talk about a no win situation.

yeah, but did you see how awesome USC was against Open Date?
much better than Boise was angainst the same team the same week.

that's why the coaches jumped USC over Boise.
