Here is a kid that is being rewarded for all of the time he has put into the LSU football program. Bennie is now a senior and for the first time in his LSu career he is getting regular playing time and passes thrown to him. So far he is averaging over 17 yards a catch this year. Whenever a player leaves the team (and their names need not be mentioned because they no longer deserve recognition) many say good riddance. One reason is because there is always a deserving Bennie Brazell on the team waiting to contribute. You gotta love and admire a kid that puts forth the effort Bennie has and sticks with the program! GEAUX BENNIE BRAZELL!!!

No, I dont remeber where it happened, it was a luncheon or something. But someone asked him about the recievers. Well he was going down the list of them and pointing out the things that they did very well and how they were gonna help the team. When he got to Bennie, he said after a pause mind you, " Bennie Brazell, he sure is fast."
Glad to see Bennie's perseverance and hard work pay off. Many of the so-called insiders on 2 other boards said before fall camp started that Bennie had already quit football and was fyling to Europe to run track, glad they were wrong.

I have often wonder, with all that speed, why he isnt on kickoff return... I understand the hands were always questionable, but now he apparently has fixed that... I saw give him a few runs...
