This makes me happier than any of the other picks. That kid worked hard for four years and took advantage of the opportunity for playing time when he finally got it as a senior. I have confidence that he will do the same now that he's actually been drafted. Amazing to see his name on the draft list!!!!!

The best thing for him getting drafted, (He would have been signed as FA if not), is that he will get $30,000 to $50,000 in guaranteed money. FA usually only get $8,000 to $15,000.

Will bennie be a good pro? I think he will.. he has been a late bloomer.. but all of last year his hands and route running improved each game.. If a team can further improve his skills and get him to add about 20 pounds in bulk, he will be a good one.. not a great one, but a good #3, possibly #2..

Gotta say I didn't see this coming. I thought it was a possability that with his speed he'd be picked up in the 7th, but I thought his lack of college production would force him to try the free agency route.

Good for Bennie, even though they kept misspelling his name.

I knew someone would take a chance on Bennie. The NFL respects speed and Bennie is legitimate world class. And this year he really caught the ball well and made very big plays.

Any guaranteed money for him? I'll answer my own question and say around $100k. Hope he makes the roster. It's nice to see so many recent LSU alums on Sunday.
