It was Buns but they closed them all down :(

    Anybody else have their favorite?

Judice Inn is good. My favorite burger in Lafayette (and a lot of other places) is the old time burger at Chili's.

I used to like the Ground Pati in Baton Rouge but they have all closed.

I tried Judice Inn once but was not impressed. I went back to my old staple, Buns.

Buns was replaced by "Snubs" (Buns spelled backwards). Were they not as good?
I used to like Buns also but found they were a little expensive. Is Snubs still open?

They may have been a little pricey, but damn they were worth it.

I didn't know they were replaced by Snubs....how many locations do they have and where are they located?

I don't have much experience with hamburgers in Lafayette but when I am driving to or from Houston I usually stop at the Dairy Queen in Rayne for a burger. I like the DQ burgers and there are no Dairy Queens in Baton Rouge.

Last October I stopped at a Dairy Queen in Oxford, MS :eek:lefire: Since I was in a hurry and wanted to eat my burger on the road I asked them to cut it in half to make it easier to eat while I was driving. The lady behind the counter replied "We don't do that." I was pissed but its likely she was an Ole Piss grad and didn't know how.

I drive right by the place on Surrey St. every time I go to the airport. Frankly, I haven't noticed if Snubs is still open or not. As far as I know, that was the only location.

Actually, most fast food places don't cut burgers anymore or most other food for that matter. It has to do with the risk of cross contamination from cutting everybodys food with the same knife and not washing it in between. I found this out after Taco Bell stopped cutting their mexican pizzas.
