1. Faygo root beer is the greatest of all time. It's kinda like barqs . . . but without the bite. But you can't complain because it cost $1 a 6-pack at Big Lots.
  2. IBC in a bottle.

Is this Frost Top the one across I-10 about 5 min. from the stadium?
  3. How I rank the root beers:

    1. IBC
    2. A&W
    3. Abita
    4. Barq's

    Root beers that suck:

    Mug
    Fanta
    Dad's
    Sam's
  4. I used to like Dad's but I never see it anymore so I thought they quit making it.
  5. Its near the Centroplex on the corner of Govenment Street and St. Ferdinand. As far as I know its the only one still open in Baton Rouge.
  6. That's the one I was thinking of. When I make the drive to BR from Laf./Youngsville I'll stop in and get my kids a treat.

    Thanks
  7. Oh yeah, for all you New Orleanians, I almost forgot about this "blast from the past":

REX root beer in the tin can

    (I miss Pop Rouge,too!)
  8. I went to the "world of Coke" exhibit in Atlanta and they have a room where you can sample all of the products that Coke makes from around the world.... they had this Fanta Birch Beer that was almost red in color.....killer

That said it's not sold here so my favs would be:

    Abita
    IBC
    Hires

If you are there - Frostop
