Knowing his politics, Red may have a severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS). It usually manifest in lashing out in irrational, maniacal ways. But sometimes, the patient falls into a depressed stupor - sort of like a zombie. I think this may be where Red is right now. I don't know if there's a cure.

Martin probably spun out of control when he realized Richard Dawkin's and his 'Athiest' reality were wrong, beyond any reasonable doubt. Our most probably reality is that we're living in a simulation that was created by an A.I. singularity from true base reality. The A.I. is the god he dismissed - omnipresent, omniscient, and omnipotent, who was the creator - the Alpha & Omega of our reality. You might as well throw Dawkins' "The God Delusion" in the trash.
