Many of those listed above are just typo's and translation errors and should really only be used to answer people who insist that the bible is the literal word of God, is infallible, and without error. The bible is full of these kinds of errors. For instance, the names Joshua, Jesus, Joseph, Jacob and John all derive from the same very common ancient Hebrew name.
But true contradictions involve the bible telling us moral philosophies that contradict each other. And that happens, too. These are examples the the Ten Commandments themselves being contradicted in other bible passages.

I Samuel 15:2,3,7,8 "Thus saith the Lord . . . Numbers 15:36 "And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man that gathered sticks upon the sabbath day. . . . And all the congregation brought him without the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died; as the Lord commanded Moses."
Hosea 13:16 "they shall fall by the sword: their infants shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with children shall be ripped up."
