@LSU_4_LIFE I'm not suggesting Mississippi State has a chance at winning the SEC. I am stating it appears a lot of LSU fans--and others--are looking at them under the label "it's just another Mississippi school." You've touched on one of the reasons I like them in this game--a great defensive line. I strongly believe you're underestimating Moorehead. @shane0911 I don't put what I see from KSU's line in the same category as Mississippi State's. The point of liking MSU to win this game isn't based on what happened week one. I've had a W chalked on this game for the Bulldogs for a few months now. Over the summer it was all about the line, not who would win. If you're looking for value I'm seeing it in this game as well in 1:3 (roughly the ML.)
@TerryP I think the line play and QB play has them better than just an average Mississippi school (I could easily see 8 or 9 wins) maybe even 10 with a bowl win, although I think 9-4 is where they end up. I’m referring more to the national pundits who have built them up to be a sleeper to win the SEC. Its just one of those things you have to see to believe I guess. Don’t know much about Moorehead other than he put some good offenses on the field at Penn State. Right now I can’t say losing Mullen and gaining Moorehead was a net positive for them. Maybe it turns out to be. I think that early Mississippi State vs Florida matchup will be an intriguing game for sure.
Not supposed to bet against Snyder getting dd at home is what Shane's saying but Miss St could roll them. I think I like Stanford this week. I liked them more at - 4. Headed to Beau Rivage in the morning. May stop at silver slipper for some nfl futures before its too late.
Yeah I had that as one of my picks then took it out cause I can enjoy it when shane's "lock" fails without having to go on record- just in case. I guess now you effed that up, didn't you?
