I had my time wasted today when Mrs. Bunker showed today up at a conference I was attending. She made a thirty minute speech to everyone.

I was smart enough to skip the CISD conference this year. Damn thing has gotten so boring in recent years.

Missing Blanco was just an added benefit...

 

boring is an understatement...

She showed up to make a speech and take credit for a lot of technology initiatives going on around the state. As if she really had anything to do with most of them.

 

Two of my co-workers were all fired up when they got back to the office. I mistakenly thought that they enjoyed the conference and that they actually learned something.

I was wrong ... they were happy about having their picture taken with the Gov!

 

the only good thing to come out of katrina was cancelling last year's.

 

Fortunately I don't have to go to that again. My boss said he makes every new employee suffer through it their first year. Lucky me huh.

 

Did Blanco not invent the Internet??

 

Oops, I actually read a thread about Blanco.. I must be tired...

 

I was thinking about making some smartazz comment, but I shouldn't. I've had my picture taken with some homely women, too.
