A friend of mine is cleaning out his house and gave my son his football and baseball card collection. Included are several of Bo Jackson cards. Does anyone know what Bo is doing these days and what the status of his hip is ?

Saw him play baseball at the Box the spring following his infamous wrong direction run in the previous iron bowl. The 3rd base bleacher boys wore him out about it. He took it in good stride. Once, he even headed to the wrong outfield position, turned and grinned at 'em, and proceeded on to his correct position. A great athlete, a good sport, and reportedly a good guy. He signed a lot of autographs for the LSU fans, particularly the kids. If memory serves, he won the Heisman later that year. :thumb:

I remember there was a good show on ESPN Classic about him a few months ago.

I know he has a line of nutrition bars. I used to love him as a kid ..... as a Raider, not a war eagle.

I was a huge fan of Bo Jackson. I can actually remember watching that game against the Bengals (I think it was the Bengals, at least, correct me if I'm wrong) when he had his career-ending injury. Were it not for that, it would've been yet another 99 yard TD run for him. Definitely a sad day for me as a football fan.

Did anybody ever read his autobiography? Apparently he was very bad as a child but got whipped into shape by high school. Great book I might add.

Bo Jackson regardless of the fact he was an Auburn Tiger was and still is one of my favorite athletes of all time. Huge fan of that dude.

When he plowed the Boz in that Monday night game. Just greatness.

I don't think anyone will forget that. The announcers deemed it the $11,000,000 collision or somesuch.

He is a great movie star though. :D
