Boise State ultimately won't get in LSU's way. They are already behind LSU in the human polls and will stay that way the rest of the year should both win out. LSU stands a decent chance of passing them in the BCS poll should both win their games this week.

I think they mentioned Boise State has the number 2 defense in the country, only allowing 11 points a game.
The only team who scored on Boise, is the only team that has a decent offense. Outside of Oregon, the rest of the teams on their schedule so far average out to have 74th total scoring offense.
Boise St needs to lose somewhere along the line, because they may end up ahead of LSU in a couple of computer polls.
