Damn you sunofabitch. Well I figured it was another Bowden, altho I would have been equally as shocked if it was Clemson's coach. Talk about nepotism ruining a football team. This dude has single-handedly brought this program down (altho gradually). With the defenses FSU has put out there the past few years, they could have been in the running for NCs all this time. It didn't help he had to deal with pretty boy Rix. That had to be a really uncomfortable situation for Bobby.
bout time, FSU hasnt' done anything on offense in years. You look at all the talent they have on offense, even previous players in the NFL now, getting shut out by wake forest is pathetic. There will be a lot of people gunning for the o-coordinator job knowing that Papa Bowden is on his last few years...
Yeah you're right about the fact that this should be a golden opportunity for Bowden to get a top flight College or even NFL OC. They would definitely have the inside track for taking over the program when Bowden finally steps down (which is probably upon his death at this point) if they succeed in turning around this woeful offense.
Kinda shocked by the fact Bobby would even hire his own brother without considering the fact that he may be inept. I woulda sworn the success of the FSU football program meant more to him than blood.
Well, it was a bit of a surprise to me but Jimbo Fisher is a name that has been thrown around locally already as a possible replacement. This is just speculation and nothing factual.
