Bowl Projections

Interesting thoughts. Seems most of these guys assume we will lose to Arkansas. Can't wait to piss on these predictions when we beat the Hogs Friday!:tigerhead

Michigan vs LSU - Rose Bowl

Penn St vs LSU - Outback Bowl

Fox Sports:
Wisconsin vs LSU - Capital One Bowl

CBS SPorts:
Nebraska vs LSU - Cotton Bowl

Nebraska vs LSU - Cotton Bowl

 

i wouldn't mind the USA Today outlook

 

USA Today has LSU beating ARK.. Everyone else does not.

 

LSU-Michigan would be a good story-line for the media. Two michigan guys who worked under Bo Schembechler

 

As you can see...this is how much the media agrees. Only two of those publications were on the same page. That's why we can't leave the NC game in the hands of these writers...they're all over the place.

 

All of those predicted matchups would be interesting.

I'd LOVE to matchup vs Michigan--ugh--ESPECIALLY in the Rose Bowl! :thumb:

Wisconsin in the Cap One also would be a nice matchup, but I think we should win that one.

As I've stated before in another thread, I wouldn't mind playing Nebraska (but it would likely mean that we either lost to Arkansas, or got shafted by the Cap One--both cases are ones that I would rather not have happen. But I might get a little satisfaction back should we beat the snot out of Nebraska--I still get pissed when thinking back at those Sugar Bowl thrashings the 'Huskers laid on us in the late '80's.

A bowl game against Penn State doesn't excite me as much as the other ones--even though a win over Penn State would look good based on their tradition.

 

My grandfather, in 82 years, has never been to the Rose Bowl, and it has been a lifelong dream of his to see the Tigers play there. If we go, he said he will do anything to get tickets for me, him, and my grandmother to go. So now, we root for the Tigers and the Gators.
