Boys first bass

Went wade fishing for flounder before my boys preschool graduation thing this morning. Got a few flounder and couple trout nothing overly special. Had a few minnows left over so took my boy to the pond this evenin to see if anything would eat a bull minnow. First fish was my boys first bass which was 2.5lbs. Other than that just a few smaller cats they didn't seem to want to fool with the minnows much. Got a fridge and freezer full of fish so was just catch and releasing this evenin only fish pic I took was of the bass.

Aw, have a heart. Lil dude is almost without footwear.

 

lol he will kill a gator next week and be sporting some alligator-skin crocs the following day.

 

Ha yea he's not quit there but there is a little 4 footer calling the pond home so the possibility does exist

 

Sometimes in battle you gotta make sacrifices. He was locked in a death struggle with the bass and the shoe just had to go.

 

Did you video it? Would make a good commercial for a line of bass fishing shoes.
