Yup, Kansas is the best team in the country and Illinois is nothing more than a top 5 team. Don't let actual people tell you otherwise.

We have really come on strong as of late. With tonight's win over 'Bama to follow up a VERY nice win over Florida, we're starting to peak at just the right time. Gotta carry this level of play over to the SEC tourny, and more importantly, the NCAA tourny!

based on how well this team plays against good teams versus how they play against average/poor teams, i'd rather have a more difficult non conf schedule

Kansas? if you're serious, you obviously don't watch much college basketball.

ESPN.com still has LSU listed in their Bubble Watch, but they're as strong as any team on the fence in the country.

LSU's current strength of schedule (14) and RPI (27) is second only to Villanova among the bubble teams.

I saw that VT is a bubble team with a 14-10 record and a 7-6 conference record. Their RPI is 105 and SOS is 121. Give me a break. LSU is a lock according to all others. John Brady was on local B'ham radio this morning and pointed out that the NCAA actually picked Bama several years ago with a losing SEC record (7-9) how could they pass on LSU if they lose the last 3. Our SEC Record would be 9-7.

if i remember correctly, bama had #1 SOS in country that year. ours is good, but it will go down with the next three games. anytime you have a winning conf record in a top/the top conf you will be on bubble. even IU is there at 13-10

The RPI has Kansas as number one, I was being sarcastic.

ESPN "Nitty Gritty", which somehow is what the NCAA uses for seeding, has LSU a strong 9th seed. However, if we don't beat Alabama Poly...
