I am from LA and have been a die hard Tiger fan my entire life. I thought Chris Jackson was the greatest bball player I had ever seen (I am only 34) and loved to go to bball games at LSU. I live in Tucson AZ now and my company is a corporate sponsor for UofA athletics. Their Bball program is a class act and I have become a big fan. My problem is simple, how do we put up with being so bad for so long? with the exception of one year,(which we should have gone further in the tourney.) this program is completely off the radar nationaly. And maybe even a bigger issue is Brady has a reputation of being a HUGE ******* and no one respects him. One of the media guy's here (who never says anything negatively about anyone.) uses John Brady as an example of THE BIGGEST JERK in college bball all of the time. Dale Brown was certainly not the best X's and O's guy out there, but he was well respected (except for Knights famous comments.) around the country and got players to come and inspired players to give their all. (ie, Ricky Blanton) A CHANGE MUST BE MADE, AND A QUALITY COACH HIRED.
First things first, man. Skip's got his hands full right now trying to bring in a new football coach. You've got to stop the bleeding there first, otherwise there is no basketball program to bitch about.
Agreed, but surely he is "multi-tasking" on this as well. Out here in bball country my LSU plate does'nt mean as much.
That is one of the biggest mysteries in all of college sports. Brady has lost players, lost his way and lost the program and no one seems to care. How can expectations have dropped so low? The LSU basketball program is dead and it's way past time for someone new to come in and start from scratch building a new and improved program that isn't an embarrassment to the university.
Brady is done... My personal opinion is that we should begin looking for a bball coach as soon as this whole fb coaches search is over.:geaux: I say let's win at everything!! (dreamin):tigerhead
