I know a lot of folks are anti QB rotation, but if Harris struggles for 3-4 series I'd like to see Jennings come in for a few series. This allows Harris to see things from the sideline, talk to coordinator, and take some time to compose himself. It also gives Jennings an opportunity to play and maybe even give a spark. Do yall agree and do yall think Miles will do this? In the past I think it has hurt our qbs to leave them in while struggling.
I am a Harris guy, I think he is at least the short term future for our team but I am VEEEEERY leery of this situation. I would not be surprised to see Jennings start and in fact I think I might be in favor of it. Starkvegas isn't Jordan Hare but it is still SECW on the road. And those GD Cow bells. UGH. I can only hope that Les and Cam were on each a side of Harris all week in practice shaking a cow bell like a fag at a weenie roast.
Every year is different. But our offense has a history of starting slow in games especially at the beginning of the season. I am very afraid that we will be predictable and have early drives stall out. Then I see Les putting in Jennings. I wish and hope there is a definite plan. Something like no matter what happens Jennings gets the third drive and then Harris is back in for the fourth. This will give Harris some time on the sideline to watch things too. We don't need to coddle but we do need to teach.
That is what last year was for. Jennings is Jennings. Next to no improvement. They only reason he should come in is if Harris gets hurt.
Even if we go up by 40 I don't want to see Jennings. Put in the #3 QB and get him some reps. Jennings needs to transfer to a FCS school. I'll wish him well. He needs to be nothing more than a bad memory at LSU.
