Huddle House is opening in Baton Rouge soon. I've been to them in other cities and they make a fine classic diner breakfast, far better than Pitt Grill, Shoneys, IHOP and other chain breakfast joints. I love a good diner and I judge them by their breakfast plate and their burger. There is only one Louies, but I'll stop at a Huddle House for breakfast or lunch almost anywhere i find one.
there was a huddle house in the little town where i grew up. havent thought about that place in years. i rarely see them now. as far as louie's... the best. a guy i dated for a long time worked his way through college as a cook at various places. he did a long stint at louies. i spent a lot of time eating there. i need to eat there on one of my next trips. havent been there in years.
