I think anyone who is demonizing the decision by the majority of Brits voting to leave the EU and at the same time will pull the lever for Trump or would have for Sanders is being a little hypocritical. I don't think this was done just because people hate immigrants. Sure that was a factor, but to me this was a middle finger to the establishment by people who have been ignored for years. It's very similar to what is going on here in this presidential election. People are sick and tired of being ignored by the establishment and the only way to stick it to the establishment is to pull a lever.
This is exactly right but there is still a huge problem. I'm glad that we have learned that we have the power to revolt and make a statement, now we need to figure out how to get a viable candidate up there to vote for. This will prove very difficult.
