That jives with Miles' assessment that it was not the type of injury that could in any way affect his career.

Thanks for the update. Yes, let's hope Alley makes a speedy recovery!

I have had 4 knee surgeries, including having both knees reconstructed. I have had minor tears hurt 10 times worse than the one of the major injuries that caused the first reconstruction.

I hope AB has a successful surgery and comes back stronger than ever.

I am working on other joints now. Two summers ago I had two surgeries (one in June and one in July) to reconstruct my right wrist. My friends have a pool on when I tear up the left wrist and have it done.

Nah, just started young. The first knee reconstruction was at age 15.

I was laways an accident waitng to happen myself with a few broken bones and surgery on my knee, foot and elbow. Some of us are just brittle for some reason. My father always blamed it on my twin sister. I was the first born and she was trying to come out feet first, she was evidentally kicking me out of the womb 3 months early. :hihi:

Four times in one year, they went into my heart to put in stints. I've had two back surgeries. I've had one "brain surgery." ( actually, it was for hemorrhoids- but my wife tells everyone it was brain surgery) She just smiles and says, "If it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck-------." Can you imagine how I felt sitting in church one Sunday am and the preacher says, "We all need to keep Col Reb in our prayers. He is having brain surgery tomorrow morning." Then he told them the TRUTH. Anyway, I saw my son-in-law go through surgery on both knees. I don't want ANYTHING to do with that. Give me a good ole back surgery any day.
