i have noted before that i generally blame white folks for woke bullshit, and that its curious how often black folks that get stupid are in fact half white. bubba, obama, jussie smollet, kaepernick, all of these folks have a white parent. the 1619 project, the NYT's new liberal woke bible was writtedn by a cunt named nicole hannah-jones, who is also half white. something about being half white messes with the heads of black folks. regular fully black folks are much cooler and laid back.
My kids are mixed as well, but too young to feed into this. Their mom is not as conservative as me, but I am pretty outspoken about personal accountability and a general hard-ass. I do not know if I am parenting them right, but I can tell you I refuse to let my kids be under my roof and be lazy, be dis-respectful, lie, cheat, steal, and most importantly, say "I can't". I tell them all the time, "your life is a direct result of YOUR actions". "If you stay grounded or without privileges, it is 100% YOUR fault". So many of their friends get away with a lot. I see how they talk to their parents. I see how their parents make excuses for their kids. Sometimes I think I am too hard on them, but my parents were hard on me and looking back, they could have been harder.
