Butch Davis to UNC

Butch Davis looks to be the HC at UNC. That is probably a better situation then going back to Miami for him at this pont.

I'm a little shocked! would have thought he wait for Bowden to retire (or booted) at the end of the year and go there instead. UNC is a basketball school. Their fans only support the football team if they're winning. he's gonna have empty seats for a longggg time there... plus bad facilities, higher enrollment scores req'd...GL Butchy Boy. But, better him there than in the SEC.:hihi:

 

The excitement around the National interest in this man alone will change a lot of that..........not to mention what his coaching will do to strenghten the NC team.

Not true at all. People at UNC love football and support each. Many basketball recruits last year commented after they commited that they chose UNC b/c their fans are supportive of every sport and enjoyed their visit....to the football game.

 

Dam skippy! BD will have UNC front and center of the ACC in a few years. He brought Miami back from exile, he'll do the same at NC.

 

So, you would rather be in North Carolina's position now? You've got a perennial Top 10 team in the premier football conference in America but you're envious of North Carolina because they have a coach who may or may not be a success? Dude, you need to learn to appreciate what's right in front of you. If Buth Davis is all that, he'll have NC where LSU is now in about 5 years.

I don't understand how you got that from his post? I thought his post was (and still don't see anything to suggest otherwise) in realtion to the ACC. DOTB has posted here enough for us to know better than to question his loyalty.
