Logical conclusion but man did they pull the trigger fast. Guess they didnt want to take the chance of losing to WKU.

Gangrene was setting in. They did what had to be done to save the program.

So where do we go from here? Kiffin is the best choice, but every game he wins at Ole Miss ups the asking price, and I don't think we'll spend what it would take. I like Sumrall, kind of, he's doing a fine job but is he ready for the SEC? Ditto for the guys at Ga Tech and SMU, who's names escape me but I've seen thrown about. Kelvin Sheppard? Lot to like, but no HC experience. Joe Brady - can't see him leaving the NFL.

Drinkwitz is another name being thrown about that I think would be a good choice, he's proving he can win in the SEC with fewer assets than the blue bloods. Many think he would also assure you keep Baker at DC, but man, he needs to hit the offseason clinics and learn how to defense a running QB!

    Drink is just, well, weird.
Kitten is just leveraging everyone for even more money than BK.
Given the money crunch, it may be time to stop chasing whales and go with an up and comer that is young(er) and hungry. Pay em well but load with incentives and have a graduated declining buyout.

I don’t follow the coaching carousel, but I have an uneasy feeling the “dream” Coach is just not out there at this time. I like Kiffin, but don’t see him leaving Ole Miss. After that IDK.
